The Realme GT 7 Pro, equipped with the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, has outperformed the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 and Apple’s A18 Pro in the AnTuTu benchmark, according to recent reports. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite has also achieved a higher AnTuTu score than the Dimensity 9400 on the Vivo X200 Pro and Oppo Find X8.
Realme GT 7 Pro, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, has been highlighted in leaked benchmark scores that suggest it surpasses Apple’s A18 Pro chip. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is anticipated to be announced on October 21.
Snapdragon 8 Elite AnTuTu Benchmark Leaked
The Snapdragon 8 Elite, which was previously expected to debut as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, is set to be revealed by Qualcomm next week. Details about the performance of this upcoming chipset have emerged online. According to benchmark results for the alleged Realme GT 7 Pro, the Snapdragon 8 Elite may offer a significant boost in performance compared to its predecessor and outperform both MediaTek’s recently launched Dimensity 9400 SoC and Apple’s A18 Pro chip that powers the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, in collaboration with Smartprix, leaked an image showing the purported Realme GT 7 Pro with an unprecedented score of 3,025,991 points on the AnTuTu benchmark test. This smartphone will be one of the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which will be unveiled by Qualcomm at its annual Snapdragon Summit on October 21.
The leaked image also shows the iPhone 16 Pro Max next to the Realme GT 7 Pro, with a much lower score of 1,651,728. Apple’s flagship device was launched last month with the six-core A18 Pro, its most powerful smartphone chip to date. However, it’s essential to note the benchmark tool’s use of the Vulkan and Metal APIs on Android and iOS, respectively, when making cross-platform comparisons.
First Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC-Powered Phone in India
Realme’s forthcoming flagship phone isn’t the first device to surpass the 3 million mark on AnTuTu. Last month, the Vivo X200 with MediaTek’s 3nm Dimensity 9400 chipset scored 3,007,853 points on the benchmarking tool, placing Qualcomm’s chip slightly ahead of its competitor in these tests.
Anticipated October Launch for Realme GT 7 Pro
The Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to launch in October and may feature a large 6,500mAh battery. In related news, the Realme GT Neo 7’s launch timeline and key specifications have been tipped. Realme also recently introduced the P1 Speed 5G in India, alongside the Techlife Studio H1 Headphones. Additionally, the Realme GT 6 is set to receive Google’s Magic Compose and new AI features. The Oppo Find X8, previously benchmarked on AnTuTu with a score of 2,880,558 points, was the highest on the platform at the time. This device is also powered by the Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is expected to be used in other flagship smartphones over the coming year.
