Realme has officially unveiled the GT 8 Pro and GT 8 smartphones in China, bringing top-tier specifications and advanced features to its latest lineup. The GT 8 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with an R1 X graphics chip and a massive 7,000mAh battery. Its 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED display offers up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colours, and peak brightness of 7,000 nits, with IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The GT 8 Pro boasts a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP Ricoh GR anti-glare primary camera with two-axis OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 200MP telephoto camera capable of 120x digital zoom. The front camera is a 32MP shooter. The standard Realme GT 8 also sports a 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, 50MP telephoto sensor, and a 16MP front camera. Both models support 8K video recording at 30fps.
The phones come in Blue, White, and Green colour variants and are equipped with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage, with the GT 8 Pro featuring UFS 4.1 storage and the GT 8 using UFS 4.0 storage. Wired fast charging is supported at 120W for the Pro and 100W for the standard model. The devices offer security through in-display fingerprint sensors, facial recognition, and multiple onboard sensors including proximity, ambient light, gyroscope, and compass. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC.
