The next-generation Realme Neo 8 smartphone has reportedly surfaced online, hinting at major hardware improvements over its predecessor, the Realme Neo 7. The upcoming model is expected to feature a significantly larger 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, a new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and upgraded display and camera features.

According to reliable tipster reports on Chinese platforms, the Realme Neo 8 could include a 6.78-inch LTPS flat display with a 1.5K resolution, providing an immersive and crisp viewing experience. The device may also incorporate a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for enhanced security and convenience.

For photography, the Realme Neo 8 is tipped to come with a 50-megapixel main rear camera, offering detailed and vibrant captures. These upgrades position the Neo 8 as one of Realme’s most ambitious mid-premium smartphones yet.

Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is expected to deliver improved performance and power efficiency. Combined with the massive battery, users may expect extended usage times suitable for gaming, streaming, and multitasking.

The Realme Neo 7, launched in December 2024, featured a 7,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, and 120Hz LTPO display. In comparison, the Neo 8 promises notable advancements in both energy capacity and processing speed.

Although Realme has not confirmed an official release date, industry speculation suggests that the Realme Neo 8 could debut by early 2026 in China, followed by global markets. Pricing details remain under wraps, but analysts predict competitive pricing similar to its predecessor’s launch range.
