Realme is gearing up to introduce the Realme P4x 5G in India today, expanding its P-series lineup with a smartphone positioned to deliver strong performance, new design elements, and upgraded durability. The phone has been teased extensively, revealing its colour options, processing power, and camera details ahead of its official launch. Realme is expected to offer the device through Flipkart and its official online store, with three colour choices set to be available at launch.
According to early teasers, the Realme P4x 5G will sport a dual rear camera setup placed inside a pill-shaped camera module, along with MIL-STD 810H-grade durability. The smartphone will also feature a VC FrostCare cooling system, aimed at maintaining stable performance by reducing CPU temperature during heavy usage such as gaming or multitasking. Realme claims the cooling chamber covers a large heat dissipation area for improved thermal control.
The Realme P4x 5G is scheduled to go official today at 12pm IST. Although the company has not confirmed whether it will host a livestreamed launch event, the device may be revealed through a soft launch or online announcement. If an event takes place, it is expected to premiere on Realme India’s YouTube channel along with the brand’s social media platforms.
In terms of pricing, leaks suggest that the Realme P4x 5G will start at ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. A second variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage may be priced at ₹17,499. The top-tier version offering 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to retail for ₹19,499. All models will reportedly arrive in white, green, and pink colourways.
On the hardware front, the Realme P4x 5G is confirmed to include a display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The official screen size has yet to be disclosed. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset built on a 4nm architecture, capable of achieving clock speeds of up to 2.6GHz. Realme states the phone has crossed 7,80,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark, positioning it strongly within its price segment.
Thermal performance is supported by the VC FrostCare cooling system with a large 5,300 sq mm heat dissipation area, helping the device maintain lower temperatures during extended gaming sessions. The phone will come equipped with up to 8GB RAM, paired with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and it will also include up to 10GB of virtual RAM expansion.
For photography, the Realme P4x 5G is teased to include a 50-megapixel AI-powered primary camera capable of recording 4K videos. A secondary lens is also visible in promotional materials, although details remain undisclosed. Battery performance claims include up to 9 hours of FPS gaming and over 20 hours of YouTube streaming, making it suitable for long usage cycles.
