Red Magic is preparing to unveil its next flagship gaming smartphone — the Red Magic 10 Air — in China on April 16. Ahead of the official reveal, the company has disclosed the smartphone’s design and colour options, confirming its premium build and high-end performance specs. This upcoming model will join the Red Magic 10 Pro and Red Magic 10 Pro+ lineup, which debuted in November 2024.
The Red Magic 10 Air will be available in three distinctive shades: Flame Orange, Frost Blade White, and Shadow Black. The phone’s back panel confirms that it will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, positioning it as a powerful device in the gaming smartphone category. Additionally, the device is designed with a metallic mid-frame and has a super slim 7.85mm profile, promising a sleek yet solid feel in the hand.
Based on a TENAA certification listing, the Red Magic 10 Air will measure 164.3 x 76.6 x 7.85mm and weigh around 205 grams. The smartphone will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution (1116 x 2480 pixels) and an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
On the hardware front, the Red Magic 10 Air is tipped to be available in multiple RAM and storage configurations — including 12GB, 16GB, and even a massive 24GB RAM option. Storage choices will reportedly range from 256GB to 1TB, offering ample space for gaming, media, and multitasking needs.
In terms of cameras, the Red Magic 10 Air is expected to sport a dual 50-megapixel rear camera setup along with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Powering this device is a 5,860mAh battery, which is likely to be promoted as a 6,000mAh unit. To keep up with fast-paced gaming and heavy usage, the phone is said to support 80W fast charging.
Adding to its unique feature set, the Red Magic 10 Air is also rumoured to include an IR blaster, making it a versatile tool for everyday use beyond gaming. With its sleek design, cutting-edge performance hardware, and gamer-centric features, the Red Magic 10 Air is expected to be a standout release in 2025.
