Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi A7 Pro 5G in India, expanding its affordable 5G smartphone lineup. The newly launched device brings a combination of large display, long battery life, and AI-powered features at a competitive price point.
The smartphone features a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, offering an improved viewing experience for everyday use. It runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and is backed by an extended software commitment, including four years of Android updates and six years of security patches.
Powering the device is the Unisoc T8300 processor, built on a 6nm architecture, paired with 4GB of RAM. The handset comes with storage options of 64GB and 128GB, with support for expansion up to 2TB using a microSD card. It also integrates AI-driven tools such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search for enhanced usability.
In terms of photography, the Redmi A7 Pro 5G is equipped with a dual rear camera setup led by a 32-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device includes an 8-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity features include 5G support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple navigation systems such as GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo. The device also comes with a USB Type-C port and carries an IP52 rating for basic dust and splash resistance.
One of the standout features is its large 6,300mAh battery, which supports 15W wired charging along with reverse wired charging capability.
The Redmi A7 Pro 5G is priced starting at Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 128GB model is available at Rs. 12,499. It is offered in Black, Mist Blue, and Sunset Orange colour options and will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Xiaomi’s official online store from April 15.
