Redmi is expected to expand its K90 smartphone lineup with the launch of a new performance-focused model known as the Redmi K90 Ultra. While the Redmi K90 Pro Max currently stands as the most powerful device in the series leaks suggest that the upcoming Ultra variant could introduce major upgrades in processing power battery capacity and thermal management.
According to industry leaks the Redmi K90 Ultra may be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 chipset offering octa core performance aimed at high-end gaming and heavy multitasking. The device is also tipped to include an active cooling fan which would help regulate temperatures during prolonged gaming sessions and demanding workloads. This feature could set it apart from other smartphones in the same category.
The handset is said to support 100W wired fast charging and could pack an 8,500mAh battery or larger although earlier reports hinted at a 10,000mAh capacity. On the display front the Redmi K90 Ultra is expected to feature a large OLED panel measuring between 6.81 inches and 6.89 inches with an ultra high refresh rate for smoother visuals.
Camera improvements are also anticipated positioning the Redmi K90 Ultra as a strong contender above the existing K90 and K90 Pro Max models. However since Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the device all specifications remain subject to change until an official announcement is made.
