The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is expected to expand its presence in India very soon, with new leaks suggesting a confirmed launch timeline. After debuting globally in December, the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G are now widely reported to arrive in the Indian market on January 27, 2026. These smartphones will join the recently launched Redmi Note 15 5G, strengthening Xiaomi’s popular mid-range lineup in the country.

According to industry sources, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is likely to be the more premium offering of the two, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The device is expected to feature a large 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it suitable for gaming, streaming, and everyday multitasking. On the photography front, the Pro+ variant is tipped to include a 200-megapixel main camera paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, along with a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery performance is also expected to be a highlight, with reports suggesting a 6,500mAh battery supported by 100W fast charging, allowing users to quickly power up the device despite its large capacity.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is said to offer a slightly different balance of features. It may feature the same 6.83-inch AMOLED display but with a flat panel design. Instead of a Snapdragon chipset, this model is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. While it is reported to share the same 200-megapixel primary camera as the Pro+ model, the front camera is expected to be a 20-megapixel unit. Interestingly, the Pro variant is rumoured to pack an even larger 6,580mAh battery, though with comparatively slower charging speeds.

Both smartphones are expected to ship with Android 15 out of the box, running Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 2 interface. The company is also likely to promise long-term software support, including up to four years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. Recent Geekbench sightings of the Redmi Note 15 Pro further indicate that the India launch is imminent, although official pricing and availability details are yet to be announced.
