Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G in India, expanding its popular Note series lineup. The upcoming smartphone is set to launch on April 2 and brings several upgrades, particularly in battery performance and overall efficiency.
One of the biggest highlights of the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G is its large 5,800mAh battery, which is bigger than the standard Redmi Note 15 5G. The company claims the device can deliver over 44 hours of usage on a single charge, making it ideal for heavy users. It also supports 45W wired fast charging, ensuring quicker power-ups.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, the same chipset found in the standard model. Redmi states that the device will offer long-term smooth performance, promising up to 48 months of lag-free usage along with improved CPU and GPU efficiency.
In terms of design and availability, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G will be sold in India via Flipkart. It will come in three colour options including Carbon Black, Crimson Reserve, and Frosted White. The Crimson Reserve variant will feature a premium vegan leather back panel and a slim profile of 7.82mm.
For photography, the device will feature a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor capable of recording 4K videos. While the standard Redmi Note 15 5G offers a higher megapixel count, this edition focuses on balanced performance and efficiency.
With a strong battery upgrade, modern chipset, and refined design, the Redmi Note 15 SE 5G aims to attract users looking for reliable performance and extended battery life in the mid-range segment.
