Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has confirmed that the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will officially launch in China later this month, joining the popular Turbo series. The company has teased that the new model will feature flagship-level performance and superior battery life, positioning it as a high-end option within the Redmi Turbo family. The expected price for the Turbo 5 Max is around CNY 2,500, roughly Rs. 33,000, making it an attractive choice for tech enthusiasts.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, enhancing its performance for gaming and multitasking. Alongside the Max model, the standard Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Pro are in development, with leaks suggesting advanced specifications such as large batteries, fast charging support, and high-resolution LTPS displays.
Previous reports indicate that the Turbo 5 Pro could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500e chipset with a 9,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging, while the standard Turbo 5 may include an 8,000mAh battery with similar fast charging capabilities.
The Redmi Turbo 5 series follows the success of the Redmi Turbo 4, launched in January 2025, with the Pro variant arriving a few months later. Fans can expect the new Turbo 5 series to provide powerful performance, extended battery life, and premium design, making it a strong contender in the mid-to-high-end smartphone segment.
