Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which has now appeared on China’s 3C certification website under the model number 2602BRT18C. While official details are yet to be announced, the listing provides insights into the smartphone’s charging capabilities and key specifications. The certification confirms that the device will support 100W fast charging using the MDY-18-EW charger.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is expected to feature a 9,000mAh battery, marking a significant upgrade from the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which has a 7,550mAh battery and 90W fast charging support. The new model is also rumoured to run on MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, offering high performance and improved efficiency. The device will likely feature 5G connectivity and a 1.5K resolution display for enhanced visual quality.
In addition to the Pro variant, the standard Redmi Turbo 5 is also expected to debut soon, equipped with an 8,000mAh battery and 100W fast charging support, ensuring faster top-ups and extended usage. Both models are anticipated to launch in February in China, alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, making early 2026 an exciting period for Xiaomi fans.
The previous Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, launched in April 2025, comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display, and a 120Hz refresh rate, setting the benchmark for the upcoming Turbo 5 series. With these upgrades, the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro promises to deliver stronger battery performance, faster charging, and high-end features for power users.
