Samsung has officially confirmed a major early-bird benefit for customers in India planning to buy its upcoming flagship smartphones. Ahead of the first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026, the company has revealed that buyers who pre-reserve the Galaxy S26 series will receive a complimentary storage upgrade at no extra cost.

The Galaxy S26 lineup, which includes the Galaxy S26 Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra, will be unveiled on February 25. Pre-reservations are already live in India, and Samsung is using the offer to drive early interest in its next-generation premium devices.

According to details shared by the company, customers who pre-reserve and later pre-order any Galaxy S26 model will be automatically upgraded to the next storage tier. For instance, buyers opting for the 256GB variant will receive the 512GB version without paying anything additional.

To take part in the pre-reservation programme, customers must purchase a Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass priced at Rs 999. This pass unlocks benefits worth Rs 2699 in the form of an e-Store voucher that can be redeemed at the time of purchase. In addition, Samsung is offering a chance to win daily vouchers worth Rs 5000 along with a grand voucher valued at Rs 50000.

Samsung is also extending its highest exchange value lock-in offer to early buyers. Customers trading in their old smartphones can secure the best available exchange value when purchasing a Galaxy S26 device. The final exchange amount will depend on the handset model condition and availability of the exchange programme in the buyer’s location.

The free storage upgrade offer is currently live in India and select other key markets. With rising component and manufacturing costs expected to impact flagship pricing, Samsung’s strategy appears focused on adding value for early adopters while encouraging strong initial demand for the Galaxy S26 series.
