Samsung has officially confirmed the date for its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 where the brand is expected to unveil the next generation Galaxy S smartphone series. The global launch event will take place on February 25 and will be streamed live worldwide for fans and customers.
The upcoming showcase is widely expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 series which may include the Galaxy S26 Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung has hinted that the new lineup will focus heavily on advanced Galaxy AI capabilities designed to simplify daily tasks and deliver a smoother user experience from the moment the device is switched on.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event will be hosted in San Francisco California at 10 am PT which translates to 11:30 pm IST. Viewers will be able to watch the live stream through Samsung official platforms including Samsung.com Samsung Newsroom and the company YouTube channel.
Alongside the announcement Samsung has also opened pre reservations in India and select global markets. Customers can secure a Galaxy Pre reserve VIP Pass by paying Rs 999. The pass offers benefits worth up to Rs 5000 including e Store vouchers and additional launch day perks applicable during the purchase of the new Galaxy smartphones.
Industry reports suggest that the pre sale window for the Galaxy S26 series could begin in early March with general availability expected shortly after. In addition to smartphones Samsung is also rumoured to unveil new Galaxy Buds models further expanding its ecosystem at the event.
With Galaxy AI expected to take centre stage Galaxy Unpacked 2026 is shaping up to be one of Samsung most significant launches of the year.
