Upcoming mid range smartphones from Samsung appear to have been revealed ahead of their official debut as new hands on videos showcasing the Samsung Galaxy A37 and Samsung Galaxy A57 have surfaced online.
The leaked clips provide an early look at the design and build of both devices suggesting that Samsung is continuing with its familiar design language for the Galaxy A series. Both models appear to feature a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup positioned in the top left corner of the back panel along with an LED flash placed outside the camera module.
The videos indicate that both smartphones will include the company’s distinctive Key Island style on the right side frame where the power button and volume controls are slightly raised for easier access.
The Galaxy A37 is shown in a green colour option with a flat display and visible bezels. It also features a centred hole punch cutout for the front camera. The rear panel carries a clean finish with the Samsung branding placed towards the bottom.
On the other hand the Galaxy A57 appears in a purple shade and shares a similar overall design but with slimmer bezels giving it a more refined look. It also includes a flat display and central punch hole camera along with the updated Key Island design.
In terms of specifications both devices are expected to offer triple rear cameras possibly led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor along with a 12 megapixel front camera for selfies. Reports suggest that the phones could feature durable builds with water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy A57 is likely to come with a 6.6 inch full HD plus AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate while the Galaxy A37 may include a slightly larger 6.7 inch screen with similar display capabilities.
Under the hood the Galaxy A57 is expected to be powered by an Exynos 1680 chipset whereas the Galaxy A37 could run on the Exynos 1480 processor delivering reliable performance for everyday use.
Both smartphones are anticipated to be officially unveiled later this month as Samsung continues to expand its popular A series lineup with upgraded features and refreshed designs.
