Samsung has expanded its mid range smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G. The device joins the popular Galaxy M series and is designed to offer strong battery performance modern connectivity and reliable everyday features at an affordable price point.
The smartphone will be available for purchase in India via Amazon starting today. It comes in two colour variants giving buyers more choice in design along with practical specifications suited for daily use.
Price and Availability in India
The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G is priced at Rs 13999 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. A higher configuration offering 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is available at Rs 15499. The phone will go on sale at 12pm IST and is expected to target budget conscious users looking for a 5G enabled smartphone.
Display and Performance
The device features a 6.58 inch HD plus PLS LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz ensuring smoother scrolling and viewing. It runs on Android 16 with OneUI 8 and Samsung has promised long term support including multiple OS upgrades and extended security updates.
Powering the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor which is designed to handle everyday multitasking and moderate gaming efficiently. The handset also supports expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSD card providing flexibility for users who need extra space.
