Samsung is gearing up to launch its Galaxy S26 series globally early next year, with the lineup expected to include three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. While the official launch date is yet to be confirmed, sources indicate that the phones may go on sale a month after their anticipated February unveiling, likely in March 2026.
The upcoming Galaxy S26 series is expected to feature Samsung’s newly announced Exynos 2600 chipset in select regions. The Exynos 2600, built on a 2nm process with advanced Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology, integrates CPU GPU and NPU into a compact platform promising improved AI performance and enhanced gaming capabilities. Other regions are likely to receive the phones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm chipset.
Reports suggest that the standard Galaxy S26 may retain the same camera setup as the Galaxy S25, as Samsung aims to manage costs amid rising component prices. Industry insiders also indicate that the new series could be priced slightly higher due to investment in chipsets and memory components. Despite the lack of camera upgrades, the Galaxy S26 series is expected to deliver strong performance and maintain competitiveness in the flagship smartphone segment.
