Samsung has officially teased the launch of its latest true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Core, in the Indian market. The announcement follows closely on the heels of the company confirming the arrival of the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7. The Buds Core are expected to make their debut prior to the foldable smartphones, indicating Samsung’s focus on expanding its audio lineup.
The company hinted at the upcoming launch with the tagline “Let the music move you to the core”, shared across its social media handles. Adding to the buzz, the product support pages for Galaxy Buds Core have already gone live on Samsung’s official Indian website. Additionally, the TWS earbuds were recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification portal, further confirming their imminent arrival.
Samsung’s teaser image gives us a glimpse of the earbuds’ silhouette, suggesting a stem-less, in-ear design similar to the Galaxy Buds FE. The compact styling appears to mark a return to the brand’s earlier aesthetic, steering away from the stemmed design introduced in the Galaxy Buds 3 series. The charging case also resembles the Buds 3, hinting at subtle hardware continuity.
The Galaxy Buds Core are expected to succeed the Galaxy Buds FE from 2023, targeting budget-conscious consumers with a more affordable alternative to the premium Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. Although there were previous rumors suggesting a stemmed design, the final appearance remains uncertain until the full reveal.
Spec leaks suggest the Buds Core may come with a larger battery, longer playback time, and possibly active noise cancellation (ANC), even at a lower price point. While there is no official launch date yet, the marketing push and certification listings hint at a debut in the coming weeks—potentially before the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumored to happen on July 9.
Alongside the Buds Core, Samsung is also rumored to be preparing the Galaxy S25 FE, a follow-up to its fan-edition smartphone line, and possibly an affordable variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. With all signs pointing toward a busy summer, Samsung fans can expect a wave of exciting product launches.
