Samsung has introduced new Galaxy AI features for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and other devices at its recent Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris. These new AI enhancements promise to elevate user experience by integrating advanced artificial intelligence capabilities across Samsung’s latest range of products, including the Galaxy Buds 3 series, Galaxy Watch 7, Watch Ultra, and the much-anticipated Galaxy Ring.
New Galaxy AI Features Unveiled The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature several innovative Galaxy AI capabilities. One notable feature is Sketch to Image, a sketching assistant that generates images based on user drawings or doodles in the Gallery app or Notes, exclusively using the Galaxy S Pen. Another addition is the Composer feature, which drafts emails and messages using text prompts.
The Note Assist feature will allow users to record audio, transcribe, and summarize within the app, distinguishing between 10 different speakers in a recording. Photo Assist can reimagine portrait images in various styles using the Portrait Studio.
New Galaxy AI Features on Galaxy Z Flip 6 The Galaxy Z Flip 6 boasts unique features such as the ProVisual Engine for its cameras, powered by AI. This engine detects objects, analyzes lighting conditions, and isolates facial features to enhance image quality. The AI optimizes images even at a 10x zoom range.
The FlexCam introduces an Auto Zoom feature, which adjusts to find the perfect frame for the object. Instant Slow-mo creates a slow-motion effect by artificially generating frames based on movement.
The FlexWindow cover display includes Suggested replies for tailored message responses and an AI-powered Live effect for 3D parallax effects on photos. An Adaptive feature mimics real-time weather and time, reflecting conditions such as nighttime and rain.
Live Translate is expanding to 16 languages by the end of the month and 20 by year-end, supporting third-party messaging and calling apps, and functioning even if the receiver is not a Galaxy user.
Galaxy AI Features in Buds 3 Series The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 series introduces the Interpreter feature, translating live speech in real-time. Users can switch the earphones to Listening mode to hear translations directly, even in different languages. The Buds 3 also support Voice Commands for hands-free music control and Adaptive EQ and ANC, which adjust sound settings based on environmental noise using AI.
Gemini AI Features on Galaxy Devices In addition to Galaxy AI features, Google has incorporated Gemini AI features into the new Galaxy Z foldable smartphones. The Gemini app, optimized for large screens, offers side-panel mode for multitasking and running other applications simultaneously. Circle to Search, developed by Google, now allows users to long-press for translations of visible text on the screen and highlight words or phrases for more information.
