To support this process, she recommends including a combination of pumpkin seeds and flaxseeds in the daily diet. Consuming one to two tablespoons of these seeds can provide essential nutrients like phytoestrogens and magnesium, which contribute to better hormone regulation and sustained energy levels during this phase.
As the body transitions into the luteal phase, from around day 15 to day 28, progesterone becomes the dominant hormone. To support this shift, the nutritionist suggests switching to sesame seeds and sunflower seeds. A daily intake of about one tablespoon of sesame powder along with sunflower seeds may help promote progesterone production.
