Spicy Butter Masala Pasta Recipe: A Fusion Delight

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Cups penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 cup cashews
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 dried red chilies
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Handful fresh coriander leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Water

Instructions:

  1. Boil pasta in water until al dente.
  2. In a pan, add butter and heat it. Then add red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the boiled pasta and pour in some pasta water (reserve some for later use).
  4. Pour half a cup of pasta sauce into the pan and mix well.
  5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the pasta.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
