This year’s edition introduces four dynamic franchises — Game Changers Falcons, VB Realty Hawks, Aussie Mavericks Kites and AOS Eagles — each backed by passionate ownership and strengthened by elite international and Indian tennis stars. With a blend of experience, rising talent and world-class coaching expertise, the league promises four days of high-intensity rallies, dramatic tie-breakers and unforgettable matchups.

The ownership lineup features Amandeep Singh leading the defending champions Game Changers Falcons, Vashu Bhagnani taking charge of VB Realty Hawks, Dr. Umed Shekhawat, Amit Sahni and Kewal Kalra heading the Aussie Mavericks Kites, and AOS Sports Tournament Dubai fronted by Satender Pal Chhabra steering AOS Eagles. Together, they aim to elevate the brand of franchise tennis in India.

A total of 16 athletes will compete across four teams, including global giants and top-seeded Indian stars. The Falcons arrive with Medvedev, Bopanna, Magda Linette and Sahaja Yamalapalli under the guidance of coach JL De Jager. The Hawks counter with Denis Shapovalov, Yuki Bhambri, Elina Svitolina and Maaya Revathi, mentored by Robert Lindstedt. The Mavericks Kites bring the firepower of Nick Kyrgios, Dhakshineshwar Suresh, Marta Kostyuk and Ankita Raina under coach Julian Knowle. Meanwhile, AOS Eagles field a dynamic squad of Gael Monfils, Sumit Nagal, Paula Badosa and Shrivalli Bhamidipaty coached by Mark Gellard.

Team leaders expressed confidence ahead of the tournament, highlighting the balance of power, depth, adaptability and drive across their rosters. With big names like Medvedev, Monfils, Kyrgios and Svitolina lighting up the court, along with India’s strongest contenders such as Nagal, Bopanna, Bhambri and Ankita, the Bengaluru crowd is set to witness tennis at its electrifying best.

As the city welcomes international and national champions, the debut edition of the World Tennis League in India promises unmatched sporting energy, fierce competition and a carnival-like atmosphere that fans will not want to miss.
