Dubai’s acclaimed Japanese restaurant TakaHisa is expanding its presence with a new location in Downtown Dubai. Known for premium wagyu, exquisite sushi, and refined Japanese dining experiences, TakaHisa Downtown is set to open its doors on Saturday, December 13, 2025.
Located on the fourth floor of Volante, the new restaurant offers sweeping vistas of the Dubai Canal and a dramatic view of the Burj Khalifa. The serene setting provides a tranquil alternative to the bustling flagship at Banyan Tree Dubai, designed as a private retreat with reservation-only access.
The restaurant will initially focus on à la carte dining, showcasing TakaHisa’s signature dishes and meticulous sushi craftsmanship. Diners can also enjoy an exclusive Japanese breakfast, featuring grilled fish, tamago, miso soup, and perfectly steamed rice, all while overlooking the waterfront. TakaHisa Downtown will be open daily from 8am to midnight, promising a luxurious and peaceful Japanese dining experience in the heart of the city.
