Tecno is gearing up to expand its Camon lineup as the upcoming Tecno Camon 50 and Tecno Camon 50 Pro have surfaced on the Google Play Console and the Google Play Supported Devices list. The sightings reveal early details about the smartphones, including display resolution design elements chipset information and software version. These new models are expected to succeed the Camon 40 series that was unveiled at MWC last year.

According to the updated Google Play Supported Devices list, the Tecno Camon 50 carries the model number CN5 while the Tecno Camon 50 Pro is listed as CN5c. Although the supported devices list does not disclose hardware specifications it confirms the official monikers and existence of the smartphones suggesting that their launch timeline is approaching.

Further details have emerged from the Google Play Console database where both devices were spotted with their respective model numbers. The listing indicates that the Tecno Camon 50 series will feature Full HD Plus displays with a resolution of 1080 x 2364 pixels. Both smartphones are expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor paired with 8GB of RAM which places them firmly in the mid range smartphone segment.

On the software front the Tecno Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro are shown running Android 16 out of the box along with Tecno’s custom HiOS interface layered on top. This suggests that Tecno plans to offer the latest Android experience with its upcoming Camon devices.

The images available on the Google Play Console also shed light on the design. The standard Tecno Camon 50 appears with a centrally aligned hole punch camera cutout while the Camon 50 Pro is depicted with a pill shaped cutout and curved display edges. Both phones house the power and volume buttons on the right side whereas the left edge seems to feature an additional hardware button possibly for shortcuts or AI features.

The appearance of the Tecno Camon 50 series on official Google platforms strongly points to an imminent launch. Industry expectations suggest that Tecno may introduce these smartphones in February or officially unveil them during Mobile World Congress 2026 continuing the brand’s tradition of launching Camon devices at global tech events.
