Tecno has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming Pova Curve 2 5G smartphone. The new handset will debut on February 13 at 12pm IST and will arrive as the successor to the Pova Curve 5G that was introduced in May 2025. Ahead of the launch Tecno has revealed the phone’s refreshed design and colour options giving users a first look at its updated styling.
The Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G adopts the brand’s Design 2.0 philosophy which draws inspiration from space engineering. The smartphone features a curved rear panel that tapers towards the edges and carries a matte textured finish. Angular lines and sculpted contours on the back enhance its visual appeal and differentiate it from its predecessor.
A major design update comes in the form of a redesigned camera module. Unlike the vertically aligned setup seen on the earlier model the Pova Curve 2 5G sports a triangular asymmetrical camera island. Two camera sensors are placed inside a horizontal pill shaped unit while a third sensor sits below it accompanied by an LED flash. Tecno branding and fine print details are also visible on the rear panel.
Tecno has confirmed that the smartphone will be available in three colour options including black silver and violet. Each colour variant includes a distinctive accent section near the lower part of the rear panel with a semi transparent finish adding to the device’s modern look.
While full specifications are yet to be announced reports indicate that the Tecno Pova Curve 2 5G could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset and may offer up to 12GB of RAM along with Android 16. The device is also expected to feature a large 7,750mAh battery as spotted on certification listings. More details are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch date.
