Tecno has officially introduced the Tecno Pova Curve 5G in India, expanding its range of budget 5G smartphones. This latest release stands out with its sleek curved design and solid performance specifications. Available in three vibrant colors—Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Neon Cyan—the handset is said to be India’s slimmest curved smartphone, measuring just 7.45mm in thickness.
The Tecno Pova Curve 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, ensuring efficient multitasking and 5G connectivity. The device features a large 6.78-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of 144Hz and peak brightness of 1,300 nits, offering a smooth and vivid visual experience. The screen also includes Gorilla Glass 5 protection, enhancing durability.
In terms of memory and storage, the phone comes in two variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at ₹15,999, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at ₹16,999. The base model will be available via Flipkart while the higher-end version will be accessible through offline retailers. Users can expand RAM virtually up to 16GB for improved performance.
For photography enthusiasts, the Tecno Pova Curve 5G features a dual rear camera system led by a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor, supported by AI enhancements. The front side sports a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls. The device’s futuristic “starship-inspired” design not only appeals aesthetically but also houses a 5,500mAh battery. This battery supports 45W fast charging, allowing a full charge in just 45 minutes, as per Tecno.
Additional features include an IP64-certified build for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and Tecno’s proprietary Ella voice assistant. For connectivity, the handset offers Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and a unique Intelligent Signal Hub System designed to maintain stable connections even in weak network zones.
The Tecno Pova Curve 5G is aimed at budget-conscious users who want modern features such as 5G, high refresh rates, fast charging, and AI-powered functionality in a stylish package. The smartphone is set to go on sale starting June 5.
