The much-awaited Tecno Pova Slim 5G is officially making its debut in India today (September 4). This ultra-thin smartphone comes with a sleek curved AMOLED display, advanced AI integration, and powerful connectivity features. With its slim design of just 5.93mm and lightweight build of 156g, the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is designed to stand out as one of the most stylish 5G smartphones of 2025.
According to the brand, the handset will feature a 144Hz refresh rate AMOLED panel with peak brightness of 4,500 nits, making it suitable for gaming and streaming. Tecno has highlighted it as the world’s slimmest 3D curved display 5G smartphone. The device is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, coupled with Android 15-based HiOS for seamless performance.
One of the key highlights is the integration of Ella AI Assistant, which supports multiple Indian languages such as Hindi, Marathi, and Tamil. This assistant will offer smarter voice commands, improved personalization, and smoother navigation for Indian users.
In terms of connectivity, the Tecno Pova Slim 5G includes advanced features like No Network Communication, VoWi-Fi, 5G++ carrier aggregation, and 5G high bandwidth optimization for uninterrupted usage even in weak network zones.
The phone is expected to pack a dual rear camera setup supported by the Dynamic Mood Light feature, which glows during calls, notifications, and alerts, adding a futuristic touch to the design. The handset will also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, ensuring durability.
Powering the device will be a 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging, giving users a reliable and efficient battery life for day-to-day tasks and gaming sessions.
The launch event will take place today at 2 PM IST, and while the official pricing is yet to be revealed, it is expected to be positioned as a competitive mid-range 5G smartphone. The Tecno Pova Slim 5G will be available for purchase via Flipkart shortly after the launch.
