Tecno has officially launched the Spark Go 5G in India, positioning it as one of the slimmest and lightest 5G smartphones in its category. Packed with a massive 6000mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, and advanced AI features, this device aims to deliver power, performance, and value for budget-conscious buyers.
Available in a single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, the Tecno Spark Go 5G is priced at Rs 9,999. Sales will start on August 21 at 12 PM IST via Flipkart. Buyers can choose from three colors – Ink Black, Sky Blue, and Turquoise Green.
The phone sports a 6.76-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It runs Android 15 with Tecno’s HiOS skin and offers enhanced AI capabilities through the Ella AI voice assistant, which supports multiple Indian languages including Hindi Marathi Gujarati Tamil and Bangla. Google’s Circle to Search and AI Writing Assistant features are also built-in for improved productivity.
In the camera department, the Spark Go 5G is equipped with a 50MP AI-backed primary rear sensor, an LED flash, and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Video recording is supported at 2K resolution at 30fps. Notably, it’s the first phone in its segment to feature 4X4 MIMO technology for faster network speeds, along with Tecno’s No Network Communication function, enabling calls and messages even without cellular service for eligible users.
For endurance, the 6000mAh battery comes with an 18W fast charger included in the box. Additional features include an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, 5G and 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, and an IR blaster. The phone weighs 194g and has a thickness of just 7.99mm, making it both powerful and portable.
