Hollywood actor Tom Holland has opened up once again about his personal journey with sobriety, as he celebrates more than three years of living alcohol-free. The Spider-Man star revealed that the decision to quit drinking completely transformed his life and gave him a sense of a “brand-new identity.”

In a recent interview, Holland expressed gratitude for the milestone, saying, “It feels amazing. A little bit like a brand-new identity, almost.” The actor also discussed his growing business venture, Bero, a non-alcoholic beer company he co-founded. According to Holland, the company is “making big steps in the right direction” and constantly working on innovative new products to support the sober lifestyle community.

Tom Holland has been open about his earlier struggles with alcohol, admitting that he often found himself drinking too much. He recalled how Friday nights would typically end in heavy drinking, leaving the following day unproductive. Sharing words of wisdom he once received, Holland said, “You will never wake up the morning after a night out and wish you had a drink.”

One particularly eye-opening moment for Holland was when he asked his younger brother to drive him home from a party because he wanted to keep drinking. That incident, coupled with the concern shown by those closest to him, made him reconsider his habits and inspired his path toward sobriety.

His toughest challenges came while filming The Crowded Room in May 2022, when he first decided to give up alcohol. Unlike many, Holland never turned to rehab but instead relied on the unwavering support of his family, friends, and colleagues.

Today, the actor not only celebrates his sobriety but also focuses on his career. Holland is currently filming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the highly anticipated fourth installment in the franchise, which is set to hit theatres on July 31, 2026.

By sharing his journey, Tom Holland continues to inspire millions around the world, showing that overcoming personal struggles can lead to growth, new opportunities, and a healthier identity.
