With Foster having filed for divorce from Ted Griffin, the famous screenwriter behind Ocean’s Eleven, after a decade of marriage, she and Jackman are now reportedly “madly in love” but are choosing to keep their budding romance private. Sources close to the pair shared with Page Six that they are committed to staying out of the public eye and “sneaking around” to spend quality time together away from any spotlight. The upcoming movie, produced by Columbia Pictures, is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and scheduled for release just two months after “Avengers: Doomsday,” which debuts on May 1, 2026. Holland, during his recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, shared that the filming for this fourth Spider-Man movie is set to start in mid-2025. “Next summer, we kick off filming. Everything’s looking great — we’re almost there,” Holland expressed enthusiastically. “Super excited and can’t wait to get started!” the actor added.

Though fans are eager to know, it remains uncertain whether Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ. The couple, who have been dating for several years, have built strong fan interest both on and off the screen.

In the earlier Spider-Man trilogy, directed by Jon Watts, Holland captivated audiences as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). The last movie, released shortly after Avengers: Endgame, grossed over $1 billion worldwide. Following a similar pattern, this upcoming film will continue the Spider-Man saga shortly after Avengers: Doomsday. This time, however, the story takes a new creative direction with Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, stepping in to helm the project, bringing fresh insights to the much-loved series.
