Hollywood actor Tyrese Gibson, known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, is facing legal trouble after his Cane Corso dogs allegedly attacked and killed a neighbor’s Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Georgia.
Authorities confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued against the 45-year-old star following the September 18 incident in the Buckhead neighborhood. The victim’s owner, Harrison Parker, told police he found his five-year-old dog, Henry, dead in his driveway with multiple injuries, including puncture wounds and internal bleeding.
Reports claim that Gibson’s Cane Corsos were seen roaming freely in the area at the time. Surveillance footage also appeared to place the dogs near the scene. Police later searched Gibson’s property but neither the actor nor the dogs were present.
Court filings suggest Gibson had previously agreed to surrender the dogs to Animal Services but was not at home when officials arrived. Fulton County Animal Services criticized the negligence, stating that allowing the dogs to roam freely ultimately led to the tragic death of another pet.
In response, Gibson shared an Instagram video showing his Cane Corsos interacting peacefully with smaller dogs, denying that his pets had a history of aggression. He emphasized that he was heartbroken over the loss of Henry and has since rehomed his dogs in a safe environment.
Through his legal team, Gibson extended “deepest condolences” to Parker’s family and confirmed he is cooperating fully with authorities while the investigation continues.
