Vivo is preparing to unveil its next-generation S-series smartphones in China, and fresh details have surfaced ahead of the official launch. The Vivo S50 and Vivo S50 Pro Mini have now appeared on the China Telecom website, revealing key specifications, configurations, and colour options just days before their scheduled debut on December 15.
According to the listing, the Vivo S50 will feature a 6.59-inch display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, positioning it as a performance-focused premium device. The more compact Vivo S50 Pro Mini is listed with a 6.31-inch display and is confirmed to run on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Both smartphones are shown with triple rear camera systems that include two 50-megapixel sensors and an additional 8-megapixel sensor, along with a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies.
The listings also reveal multiple RAM and storage variants, including 12GB RAM with up to 512GB storage and a top-end 16GB RAM option. Vivo S50 appears in several colour finishes such as black purple blue and pastel-inspired shades, while the Pro Mini version is offered in a more refined colour lineup.
Further details suggest that both phones will ship with Android 16 and support dual SIM connectivity. The Vivo S50 Pro Mini stands out with premium features like LPDDR5x RAM UFS 4.1 storage a large 6500mAh battery and fast charging support including both wired and wireless options. Reports also indicate that the Pro Mini could launch globally as the Vivo X300 FE while the standard Vivo S50 may inspire future Vivo V-series models in international markets.
