Vivo appears to be gearing up to expand its T-series lineup in India with the upcoming Vivo T5 Pro, which is expected to arrive as the successor to last year’s Vivo T4 Pro. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch date, early leaks suggest that the new model could bring notable improvements in battery capacity and display performance.

According to recent reports, the Vivo T5 Pro may feature an upgraded AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals compared to the 120Hz panel seen on the Vivo T4 Pro. This enhancement is likely to appeal to users who prioritize high-quality visuals for gaming and multimedia consumption.

One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming smartphone is expected to be its battery. The Vivo T5 Pro is rumored to pack a massive 9,020mAh battery, significantly larger than the 6,500mAh unit found in its predecessor. Despite the increase in battery size, the device is still expected to support 90W fast charging, ensuring quick power-ups for users on the go.

On the software front, the smartphone could run on OriginOS 6, bringing updated features and optimizations. While detailed specifications such as processor and camera setup have not been fully revealed, the Vivo T5 Pro is anticipated to carry forward improvements across multiple areas.

For comparison, the Vivo T4 Pro launched in India with a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and was powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. It also featured a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 2MP depth sensor, along with a 32MP front camera. The device came with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

With smartphone brands increasingly focusing on larger batteries and enhanced displays, the Vivo T5 Pro could emerge as a strong contender in the mid-range segment once it officially launches in India.
