Vivo has introduced its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones — the Vivo TWS Air 3 — in China, accompanying the release of the Vivo S30 and S30 Pro Mini smartphones. These new wireless earbuds are designed with spatial audio support to deliver a broader soundstage, offering a more immersive audio experience. They also come equipped with artificial intelligence-powered noise reduction, promising enhanced clarity during calls.
The Vivo TWS Air 3 sports a 12mm dynamic driver and is tuned by Vivo’s Golden Ears acoustic team for a richer and more balanced audio output. Users can switch between different sound profiles such as bass-heavy, vocal clarity, or audiobook-friendly modes. The DeepX 3.0 stereo enhancement adds depth by boosting bass, treble, and voice clarity. Audio codec support includes AAC, SBC, and LC3, ensuring compatibility with a variety of devices and sound preferences.
One of the standout features is the extended battery life. Vivo claims up to 10 hours of listening time on a single charge and a total of 45 hours when used with the charging case. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 6.0, offering a stable 10-meter wireless range. The earphones are also suitable for gaming with a low-latency mode that provides just a 44ms delay.
Built for daily use, each earbud weighs only 3.6 grams and the charging case comes in at around 37 grams. The earphones are IP54 rated for resistance to dust and water. In China, the Vivo TWS Air 3 is priced at CNY 99 (approximately Rs. 1,200) and is available in Deep Sea Blue, Cherry Pink, and Cloud White. However, there’s no official word on a global release yet.
