Vivo is preparing to launch its new V70 smartphone lineup in India and fresh benchmark details have surfaced ahead of the official announcement. The upcoming Vivo V70 series will include two models named Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite. Before launch the Vivo V70 Elite has appeared on the Geekbench database revealing important performance related specifications.
The Geekbench listing shows a Vivo device with the model number V2548 which is widely believed to be the Vivo V70 Elite. According to the benchmark results the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and is paired with 12GB of RAM. The device is expected to run on Android 16 out of the box. In terms of performance scores the handset recorded around 1,973 points in the single core test and approximately 4,863 points in the multi core test.
The processor configuration listed on Geekbench suggests an octa core architecture with multiple efficiency and performance cores along with a high clocked prime core. Vivo has already confirmed that the V70 Elite will feature Zeiss branded rear cameras and will be available in Passion Red Sand Beige and Authentic Black colour options. A dedicated product microsite for the device is already live on major e-commerce platforms indicating an imminent launch.
Alongside the Elite variant Vivo will also introduce the standard Vivo V70 which will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The Vivo V70 series is teased to feature a 6.59 inch 1.5K display with up to 120Hz refresh rate peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits and slim bezels. Both smartphones are expected to pack a large 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. Vivo has not yet confirmed the official launch date for the V70 series in India.
