Vivo has officially confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone Vivo V70 FE in India, with the device scheduled to debut on April 2 at 12 PM IST. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Amazon as well as Vivo’s official online and retail platforms, making it easily accessible to buyers across the country.
The company has revealed that the Vivo V70 FE will arrive in two stylish colour options including Monsoon Blue and Northern Lights Purple. The design also introduces a unique Darkness Glow Technology that allows the device to emit a soft glow in low-light environments after exposure to sunlight or UV light, adding a distinctive visual appeal.
In terms of display, the smartphone will feature a large 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to offer a peak brightness of 1900 nits along with HDR10+ support and a pixel density of 449ppi, ensuring a sharp and vibrant viewing experience.
The Vivo V70 FE will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, bringing updated software features including the Origin Island interface that displays real-time notifications around the front camera area. Vivo has also promised long-term software support with up to six years of security updates.
For photography, the handset will be equipped with a powerful 200-megapixel primary camera sensor. It will also support underwater photography and come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, enhancing durability.
The device will be backed by a massive 7000mAh battery paired with 90W wired fast charging support. Additionally, it will include bypass charging technology to improve performance during heavy usage such as gaming.
Audio performance is also a focus, with the phone featuring dual symmetrical speakers and Vivo’s Gaming HyperSense Audio system for an enhanced multimedia experience.
The Vivo V70 FE is expected to be offered in two configurations including 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. Pricing is anticipated to start under Rs 35000, with the base variant possibly available around Rs 30000 including launch offers.
The Indian variant is likely to carry similar specifications as the version previously introduced in Indonesia, which is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset.
