Vivo is gearing up to expand its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo V70 series later this month. Ahead of the official unveiling, fresh leaks have surfaced online revealing the expected pricing storage options and sale schedule for the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite models. The new lineup is set to succeed the Vivo V60 series and is expected to cater to users looking for flagship-level features in the upper mid-range segment.
According to industry leaks, Vivo plans to introduce two models under the V70 banner with multiple RAM and storage configurations. The standard Vivo V70 is expected to arrive in two variants offering a balance between performance and pricing while the Vivo V70 Elite is tipped to target power users with higher memory options and advanced camera capabilities.
The Vivo V70 is expected to be priced starting at Rs 45999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. A higher 12GB RAM and 256GB storage option may also be available at a slightly increased price point. The handset is said to launch in vibrant colour choices such as Passion Red and Lemon Yellow appealing to style-conscious buyers.
On the other hand the Vivo V70 Elite is tipped to start at Rs 51999 for the base 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model. Additional configurations may include a 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant and a top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB storage option aimed at users who require more space and multitasking power. The Elite variant is also expected to feature Zeiss-tuned rear cameras positioning it as a photography-focused smartphone.
Leaks suggest that pre-bookings for the Vivo V70 series will run until February 24 while the official sale window is expected to open between February 25 and February 28. Both smartphones are scheduled to launch in India on February 19 at 12pm IST. Vivo has also teased that the devices will feature ultra-slim bezels measuring just 1.25mm making them among the slimmest-bezel phones in their price category.
