According to a Weibo post by tipster Experience More, the Vivo X Fold 4 is anticipated to launch in China between July and September 2025, aligning with Q3 2025.
Another well-known leaker, Digital Chat Station, has shared details about the device’s specifications. The Vivo X Fold 4 is tipped to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 found in its predecessor. The upcoming foldable is also said to be thinner and lighter than the Vivo X Fold 3, which currently boasts a 4.65mm profile when unfolded and weighs 219g.
Vivo X Fold 4: Specifications and Camera Details
Leaked details suggest that the Vivo X Fold 4 may feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, ensuring better long-range zoom capabilities. Additionally, the device is rumored to pack a 6,000mAh battery and support wireless charging.
For security, the Vivo X Fold 4 is expected to include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an IPX8 water-resistant build, making it more durable than the IPX4-rated Vivo X Fold 3.
While the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro launched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 5,700mAh battery, 100W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging, there have been no leaks about a Pro variant of the Vivo X Fold 4 yet.
