Vivo has officially launched its latest premium smartphone — the Vivo X200s — in China, introducing powerful hardware and a host of flagship features. The device was launched alongside the Vivo X200 Ultra model and other Vivo products including the Vivo Watch 5 and Vivo Pad series. Positioned as a performance-driven and camera-centric handset, the Vivo X200s comes equipped with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset built on a 3nm process, offering efficiency and enhanced performance for power users.
The Vivo X200s sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution of 1,260×2,800 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and a staggering peak brightness of 5000 nits. This ensures a vivid and responsive viewing experience. The smartphone is available in multiple configurations including up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 internal storage. It runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 15 out-of-the-box.
For photography, the Vivo X200s houses a Zeiss-tuned triple rear camera system. This setup features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main sensor with OIS and an f/1.57 aperture, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS and an f/2.57 aperture. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel selfie camera for high-quality portraits and video calls.
Powering the handset is a massive 6200mAh battery that supports both 90W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging. The Vivo X200s also features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. It meets IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone supports advanced connectivity options like 5G Wi-Fi 7 Bluetooth 5.4 GPS NFC and USB Type-C.
The Vivo X200s is available in five storage variants starting from CNY 4199 for the 12GB+256GB model to CNY 5499 for the 16GB+1TB configuration. Colour options include Mint Blue Light Purple Simple Black and Straightforward White. The phone is currently up for pre-order and will be available in China from April 25 through Vivo’s official store and other online platforms.
