Vivo is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated X300 series smartphones in China next week, showcasing a sleek 7.95mm thickness and a pill-shaped front cutout for a modern look. The new lineup will run Android 16-based OriginOS 6, which will be officially unveiled in China on October 10, three days before the series debuts. In India, the user interface will arrive on October 15, bringing AI-driven features and design enhancements for a smooth user experience.
The Vivo X300 series includes the standard X300 and the X300 Pro. Both models are designed with lightweight builds, making them easy to hold, though they are slightly thicker than competitors like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge and iPhone Air.
Under the hood, the phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, delivering flagship-level performance. Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the Zeiss 2.35x telephoto zoom lens on the rear, with an optional teleconverter available to adjust focal lengths for enhanced photography.
The standard X300 sports a 6.31-inch 8T LTPO OLED BOE display, while the X300 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat display. Battery capacities are expected to be 6,040mAh for the X300 and 6,510mAh for the Pro variant, with both supporting 90W fast wired charging.
