Vivo is gearing up to unveil its next mid-range smartphone, the Vivo Y400 Pro, and fresh leaks have now surfaced showcasing its design, specifications, and potential features ahead of launch. The smartphone is expected to debut in India soon and bring notable upgrades over its predecessor, the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G.
According to leaked marketing materials shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore in collaboration with XpertPick, the Vivo Y400 Pro will sport a sleek and modern design with a 6.77-inch 3D curved AMOLED display. The display is expected to deliver a full-HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, ensuring visibility even under direct sunlight.
The handset is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, marking a performance leap in the Y-series lineup. For optics, it is rumored to feature a dual-camera setup on the back with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor and a secondary 2MP lens, accompanied by a ring light module placed beneath the sensors. Selfie duties are expected to be handled by a 32MP front-facing camera embedded in a center-aligned hole-punch cutout.
One of the standout features of the Vivo Y400 Pro is its massive 5,500mAh battery, which is likely to support blazing-fast 90W wired charging, making it one of the fastest charging phones in its segment. The device is said to run on Android 15 with Vivo’s custom Funtouch OS 15 skin on top.
Other notable features could include an in-display optical fingerprint scanner and several AI-enhanced tools such as AI Transcript Assist, AI Note Assist, AI Superlink, AI Screen Translation, and Circle to Search powered by Google.
The phone is expected to arrive in three attractive color variants – gold, nebula purple, and white – with storage options of 8GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM + 256GB. The Vivo Y400 Pro may be priced around ₹25,000 in India and will reportedly feature a slim 7.4mm profile.
