The long-awaited second season of Netflix’s supernatural thriller Wednesday has finally dropped, and Part 1 brings with it intense twists, darker secrets, and a terrifying new threat for our favorite gothic heroine, Wednesday Addams. Jenna Ortega returns as the iconic character, and this time around, she’s not just battling ghouls and secrets — she’s dealing with a shadowy stalker who’s been haunting her since the Season 1 cliffhanger.
When Season 1 ended, fans were left reeling after Wednesday received eerie texts and unsettling images from an unknown number, right after Xavier Thorpe gifted her a smartphone. Season 2 wastes no time in picking up the trail — and the tension — as Wednesday returns to Nevermore Academy after summer break, only to find the entire atmosphere of the school has changed.
Now hailed as a hero by her peers for defeating Crackstone, Wednesday becomes an overnight celebrity on campus. Students swarm her for autographs, and the school’s new principal, Barry Dort (played by Steve Buscemi), is oddly obsessed with turning her into a model student. But fame is far from comforting — especially when Wednesday begins receiving ominous letters from a stalker challenging her to participate in disturbing and dangerous games.
The stalker’s twisted antics escalate. From sending severed body parts to kidnapping her werewolf roommate Enid (Emma Myers), the mystery becomes more deadly by the hour. But Wednesday, always one step ahead, manages to outwit the threats and eventually unmasks her tormentor.
In the second episode of Wednesday Season 2, the stalker is finally revealed — and the truth shocks everyone. The person behind the threats is none other than Agnes DeMille (portrayed by Evie Templeton), a seemingly harmless classmate who had previously asked for Wednesday’s autograph on their first day back. Though initially dismissed as an overly eager fan, Agnes proves to be far more dangerous. Driven by obsessive admiration, she goes to horrifying extremes to earn Wednesday’s attention and approval — including orchestrating life-threatening traps using her invisibility powers.
What starts as a schoolgirl’s admiration spirals into a disturbing obsession, making Agnes one of the darkest villains to emerge from the halls of Nevermore Academy. As Season 2 unfolds, fans can expect more psychological twists, magical mayhem, and dangerous confrontations that will push Wednesday to her limits.
