On August 25, Nielsen Korea reported a significant 20 percent increase in viewership for Beauty and Mr. Romantic, with the latest episode earning an average nationwide rating of 20.5 percent. This solidified the series’ status as the most-watched drama in the fourth week of August. The show also achieved its highest rating among viewers aged 20 to 49, with an average of 3.7 percent.
Meanwhile, Netflix’s Love Next Door, which recently aired its fourth episode, achieved its best viewership rating yet, with a nationwide average of 6.6 percent by the end of the week. This marks a notable improvement from last week’s 6.0 percent.
Channel A’s Cinderella 2 AM saw a slight increase in ratings after airing its second episode, garnering a nationwide average of 0.8 percent. TV Chosun’s DNA Lover maintained a steady score of 0.8 percent following the release of its fourth episode. JTBC’s Romance in the House climbed the ratings chart, achieving approximately 5.2 percent after its sixth episode aired.
South Korea’s beloved Good Partner maintained its strong viewership from last week, with an average rating of 17.7 percent. However, this week saw a slight dip, with the show receiving a nationwide viewership of 17.2 percent.
