Woman Reveals 3 Key Mistakes That Hindered Her 90kg Weight Loss Journey and What She Would Do Differently

Date:

Pranjal Pandey, who achieved an inspiring transformation by losing 90 kilograms, recently took to Instagram to reflect on her weight loss journey and the key mistakes she wishes she had avoided. Through consistent sharing of her daily diet, fitness routines, and motivational insights, Pranjal has become a beacon of inspiration for many on similar paths.

In a candid post shared on June 10, she highlighted three major lessons learned from her experience, addressing the things she would do differently if she had to lose 90kg all over again.

1. Ignoring Nutrition in the Beginning
Pranjal admitted that in the early phase of her journey, she focused solely on reducing food intake without paying attention to nutritional value. “I would eat very little during the day and then end up bingeing on low-calorie junk foods that lacked any real nutrients,” she explained. She emphasized the importance of incorporating whole, nutrient-dense foods like protein, complex carbs, and fiber within one’s daily calorie intake to promote satiety and long-term success.

2. Delaying Strength Training
Another major regret Pranjal shared was not starting strength training earlier. She lost her initial 20–30kg primarily through calorie control and cardio but later realized how essential strength training is. “It aids in muscle development and fat loss and can even be done while sitting,” she shared, urging others to add resistance training early in their regimen.

3. Lack of Structure and Consistency
Pranjal acknowledged that without a proper system in place, she often found herself struggling to return to her routine after taking breaks. “There were many times when I went off track, and each time it took longer to get back because I had no structure to rely on,” she said. She now advocates for building habits and systems that make staying on track easier, even during periods of fatigue or low motivation.

Her story serves as a powerful reminder that sustainable weight loss is not just about eating less or doing more cardio—it’s about balance, consistency, and focusing on long-term health.
