Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its much-anticipated Xiaomi 15T series on September 25, 2025, with the lineup expected to include both the standard Xiaomi 15T and the Xiaomi 15T Pro. Ahead of the official launch, new leaks have surfaced giving enthusiasts an early look at the upcoming flagship device’s specifications and features.
According to reports, the vanilla Xiaomi 15T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, the same SoC that debuted with the Poco X7 Pro 5G earlier this year. The handset is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and advanced eye-care technology for smoother visuals and reduced strain during extended use.
Photography will once again be a major focus, with the Xiaomi 15T said to come equipped with a Leica-branded camera system. The rear module is expected to include a Leica Summilux optical lens, building on Xiaomi’s growing partnership with the iconic camera maker to deliver premium mobile imaging performance.
Powering the device could be a 5,500mAh battery, supporting 67W wired fast charging, ensuring users get strong battery life with quick recharge times. The smartphone is also expected to run on HyperOS, though it remains unclear whether it will debut with the recently announced HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
Earlier Geekbench listings suggested a device carrying the model number Xiaomi 25069PTEBG, believed to be the Xiaomi 15T. It was spotted with an octa-core processor featuring a prime core clocked at 3.25GHz, three performance cores at 3.00GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.10GHz. Benchmark results included 1,336 points in the single-precision AI test and 1,974 points in the quantised AI test, further highlighting its strong performance capabilities.
The Xiaomi 15T is rumored to be offered in a single variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Pricing could start at EUR 649 (approximately Rs. 66,000), making it a competitive flagship option in global markets. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is expected to share most of the specifications, with differences in chipset and charging speeds setting the two apart.
With a powerful processor, immersive display, robust battery, and premium Leica cameras, the Xiaomi 15T is shaping up to be one of the most exciting Android flagships of 2025.
