Xiaomi is expanding the Xiaomi 17 series in China with a new 1TB storage variant set to go on sale on October 5, 2025. This flagship model combines cutting-edge technology with premium design, offering 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, running on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The Xiaomi 17 1TB model features a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth performance. The handset retains the Leica-tuned triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary Light Fusion 950 sensor, 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens, along with a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.
The device comes with a 7,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring all-day usage. It also carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it durable for everyday use.
The new 1TB variant will be available alongside the existing 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB variants. Color options include Black, Ice Melting Blue, Snow Mountain Powder, and White, catering to a variety of style preferences.
