Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship smartphone has reportedly surfaced on a European retailer’s website, offering an early look at its expected pricing and specifications outside China. The Xiaomi 17, which debuted in China in September 2025 alongside the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max models, is now tipped to arrive in global markets with a noticeable change in battery size and a significantly higher price tag.

According to a report citing a brief listing on a Germany-based online retailer, the Xiaomi 17 could launch in Europe at a starting price of EUR 1,099 for the 512GB storage variant. If accurate, this pricing places the global model well above its Chinese launch prices, where the device was introduced at CNY 4,799 and CNY 4,999 for 12GB and 16GB RAM configurations with the same storage capacity.

The listing also indicates that the European version of the Xiaomi 17 may feature a smaller battery compared to the Chinese model. While the China-exclusive variant is powered by a large 7,000mAh battery, the global edition is shown with a 6,330mAh cell. Aside from this reduction in battery capacity, the design and core hardware specifications appear to remain unchanged.

In terms of display, the Xiaomi 17 is expected to sport a 6.3-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, high peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and Dolby Vision compatibility. Performance is handled by Qualcomm’s cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor built on a 3nm architecture, paired with LPDDR5x RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage.

For photography, the smartphone features a Leica-tuned triple rear camera system, each sensor rated at 50 megapixels, covering wide, telephoto, and ultrawide shooting. A 50-megapixel front camera is included for selfies and video calls. The device is also expected to carry an IP68 rating, offering resistance against dust and water.

While Xiaomi has officially confirmed plans to bring the Xiaomi 17 Ultra to select international markets, the company has not yet announced global availability or pricing for the standard Xiaomi 17. More details are expected to emerge in the coming weeks.
