A leaked render of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global variant has surfaced online revealing that the international version closely mirrors the design of the Chinese model launched last year. The image shows the handset in a white colour option similar to the Off White finish available in China suggesting Xiaomi may not introduce major visual changes for global markets.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra was originally unveiled in China in December featuring a premium design and flagship specifications. According to the leaked render the global model retains the large circular rear camera module with Leica branding along with dual LED flash and prominent camera sensors. A model number is also visible on the rear panel further hinting that the device is nearing an official international launch.
The smartphone is widely expected to make its global debut around MWC 2026 although recent leaks indicate it could be announced earlier in select markets including India. Reports suggest the global Xiaomi 17 Ultra may be priced at around EUR 1499 for the high-end configuration with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
In terms of specifications the global variant is tipped to feature a slightly smaller 6000mAh battery compared to the 6800mAh unit found in the Chinese version. Apart from this change the rest of the hardware is expected to remain the same including a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and Android 16-based HyperOS 3.
Camera capabilities are also expected to stay unchanged with a triple rear setup featuring a 50 megapixel primary sensor with OIS a 50 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 200 megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The device is likely to support fast charging along with high-grade dust and water resistance ratings making it one of Xiaomi’s most premium smartphones to date.
