Xiaomi is reportedly preparing the Xiaomi 17S Pro, a new addition to its 17 series, which could launch following the debut of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature Xiaomi’s second-generation XRING chipset, likely called XRING 02, offering improved performance over the previous XRING 01 found in the Xiaomi 15S Pro.
The Xiaomi 17S Pro will succeed the 15S Pro, which launched earlier this year with a Leica-tuned 50-megapixel triple rear camera system, a 6,100mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, and a 6.73-inch 2K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The new model is expected to retain similar premium features while serving as the final addition to the Xiaomi 17 lineup, which currently includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the Xiaomi 17S Pro will likely continue Xiaomi’s S series tradition, with a 2026 launch anticipated. Like its predecessor, the device is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market. Additional features may include high RAM and storage options, in-display fingerprint sensor, IP68-rated dust and water resistance, and upgraded camera capabilities. Fans can expect a powerful and feature-rich smartphone positioned as the premium conclusion to the Xiaomi 17 series.
