Xiaomi is reportedly developing the Xiaomi 17S Pro, a successor to the Xiaomi 15S Pro, which could arrive following the launch of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the 17S Pro will likely feature Xiaomi’s second-generation XRING chipset, potentially named XRING 02, continuing the S series’ regular release cycle with a 2026 launch expected.
The Xiaomi 17S Pro is anticipated to be the final addition to the Xiaomi 17 lineup, which already includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Like its predecessor, it may remain exclusive to the Chinese market, similar to the Xiaomi 15S Pro that launched in May 2025. The 15S Pro featured a 6.73-inch 2K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage. Its Leica-backed triple rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Light Fusion 900 primary sensor and two additional 50-megapixel sensors, alongside a 32-megapixel front camera.
The 15S Pro was powered by a 6,100mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, with an IP68-rated dust and water-resistant design and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The upcoming 17S Pro is expected to build on these specifications while introducing the upgraded XRING 02 chipset, offering enhanced performance for users. Xiaomi’s 17 Ultra launch is expected later this month, followed by the 17S Pro debut in 2026.
