Xiaomi has unveiled the Buds 6 in China alongside the Xiaomi Watch 5 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds succeed the Buds 5 and feature a semi-in-ear design with a Bionic Curve charging case. The Buds 6 deliver Harman-tuned “Golden Ear” sound and include an independent recording feature called Headphones 2.0. Each earbud packs a 35mAh battery, and the case houses a 475mAh battery, offering up to 35 hours of total playback.
Priced at CNY 699, the Xiaomi Buds 6 will be available in four colors: Moon Shadow Black, Pearl White, Titanium Gold, and Nebula Purple. Sales in China start on December 27 through Xiaomi’s online store, with pre-orders already open.
The earbuds support AAC, SBC, aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, and LC3 codecs, with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity providing a 10-meter range. The TWS has a frequency response of 16Hz–40,000Hz and features IP54 dust and water resistance. With ANC off, each earbud delivers up to six hours of playback, while the total battery life reaches 35 hours with the case. ANC on provides up to 3.5 hours per charge and up to 20 hours with the case. The earbuds weigh 4.4g each, while the charging case weighs 35.4g with compact dimensions for easy portability.
